Website design in Harrisonburg, built to bring in calls.

Fast, mobile-friendly WordPress websites for Harrisonburg, Rockingham County and Shenandoah Valley businesses. Flat prices, published. A free homepage mockup before you spend a dollar.

A website has three jobs.

Customers often find a local business on a phone, sometimes while they’re standing in the parking lot. Your website has to do three things fast:

  1. Get the call. A tap-to-call button on every page, and your number right where people look for it.
  2. Get them to your door. Hours that are right, a map and directions that open in one tap.
  3. Earn their trust. Real photos, clear prices or a menu, and proof you’re open and active.

We build every site around those three jobs. Everything else is extra.

What every site comes with.

  • Built for phones first, then checked on tablets and desktops.
  • Click-to-call, a map and a contact form on every build, Starter included.
  • Google Business Profile setup, so your Google listing and your website say the same thing. → More on Google Business Profile help
  • Basic SEO: a unique title and description for every page, clean headings, image descriptions and local business markup that tells Google who you are and where you work.
  • Your domain in your name. You own it. We’re added as a manager, so you never have to hand over a password.
  • A review before launch. You see the whole site before it goes live.

Why we build on WordPress.

WordPress runs a huge share of the web, so you’re never stuck with one company. You can edit text and photos yourself, or send us a request and we’ll handle it.

“WordPress is slow” is a fair worry. It’s slow when it’s built carelessly. Two of our client sites, both moved off GoDaddy’s website builder, show what a careful build does:

  • Valley Jump Park: 99 for mobile performance in Google Lighthouse on the live site, up from 76 on the old site. → Read the case study
  • Tots Ice Cream: 98 for mobile performance on the live home page. → Read the case study

Google Lighthouse mobile tests, October 2026. Scores vary a little from run to run.

How a build works.

  1. Free quote and audit. Tell us about your business. We send a flat-price quote, a quick review of your current site or Google listing, and a mockup of your new homepage.
  2. Written quote and 50% deposit. Everything we’ll build, the price and the timeline, in writing. Work starts with a 50% deposit.
  3. We build. We write and design the pages, set up your forms, map and Google listing, and test it all on phones.
  4. You review on a private preview link. New builds include 2 rounds of revisions, and a round is one list of changes. The other 50% is due at launch, only after you’ve reviewed the site. Nothing goes live until you say so.
  5. Launch, then requests. After launch, you send changes through your client portal: new hours, a new photo, a special. Small changes are $49 each for website-only clients, or covered by your monthly plan’s requests (unused requests carry over one month). Bigger changes get a written quote.

Website design questions.

What does a website cost in Harrisonburg?

With us, $499 for a one-page Starter site, $1,199 for up to 5 pages and $1,999 for up to 10 pages with booking or a menu. Online stores start at $1,799. Every price is published on our pricing page.

Do I own my domain and my website?

Yes. You own your finished site once it’s paid in full. Your domain, Google profile and social accounts stay in your name, and we’re added as a manager or user.

Can I edit the site myself?

Yes. It’s WordPress, so you can change text and photos yourself. If you’d rather not, send a request through the client portal and we’ll do it.

How long does a build take?

It depends on the size of the site. Your written quote includes the timeline before we start.

Do you meet in person?

Yes. We’re based in Harrisonburg and we’re happy to meet you at your business. Phone and email work too.

How do payments work?

50% to start and 50% at launch, only after you’ve reviewed the site on a private preview link. We email an invoice you can pay online by card or bank transfer.

How many revisions do I get?

Two rounds before launch, and a round is one list of changes. After launch, small tweaks go through your monthly requests or $49 on-demand changes.

What do you need from me?

Your logo if you have one, a few real photos, your hours and services, and about 30 minutes to tell us about your business. We can write the words for you.

Do I have to sign up for monthly marketing?

No. A website stands on its own. If you add a marketing plan within the launch bundle, you save on the first 6 months. → Launch bundle details
