Good to know
- You own your site once it’s paid off. Your domain, Google profile and social accounts stay in your name.
- 50% to start, 50% at launch. You pay the second half only after you’ve reviewed your site on a private preview link.
- Revisions: new builds include 2 rounds. The Refresh, Redo & Move and Store Redo include 3. A round is one list of changes. After launch, small tweaks go through your monthly requests or $49 on-demand changes.
FAQ
- How much does a website cost in Harrisonburg? With Magna WebWorks, $499 for a one-page Starter site, $1,199 for up to 5 pages and $1,999 for up to 10 pages. Online stores start at $1,799, and refreshes start at $599.
- How long does a build take? It depends on the size of the site. Your written quote includes the timeline before we start.
- How do I pay? We email an invoice you can pay online by card or bank transfer. Builds are 50% to start and 50% at launch, after you’ve reviewed your site on a private preview link.
- Do I own my website? Yes. You own your finished site once it’s paid off, and your domain, Google profile and social accounts stay in your name.
- Can I cancel a marketing plan? Plans are month to month. Cancel with 30 days’ notice. The launch bundle needs 6 months, then it’s month to month.
- What if I need more requests than my plan includes? Unused requests carry over into the next month, then expire at the end of that month. Extra small changes are $49 each, and you can request and pay for them right in the Magna app. Bigger jobs get a written quote. If you keep needing more, moving up a plan usually costs less.
- What happens if I don’t answer a post preview? We send one reminder, then hold the post until you approve. You can switch to auto-posting anytime.
